• Key point of contact in the creation and management of IT budgets, quarterly forecasts and actuals, and upcoming year estimates for company-wide IT spending.
• Works with IT senior management in developing budgets, actuals and forecasts strategies/analysis that are in line with the overall goals of the IT.
• Interact with the departments heads of the IT groups and work routinely with other Finance and Business Planning groups/individuals to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare reports and commentary for IT spending for use in monthly reporting and quarterly updates to IT management and Corporate Finance.
• Oversee the planning and management of FTEs, contract staff, capital and operating expense and ad hoc business challenges for IT department.
• Educate IT managers about fiscal standards and responsibilities.
• Lead IT groups in the quarterly budgeting and reforecasting.
• Coordinate with IT project management teams to manage and reconcile project budgets.
• Develop frameworks and processes for IT Financial Management in partnership with key stakeholders and implement ongoing improvements to the IT budgeting process.
• Position will play a lead role in establishing IT Financial Management metrics, goals and objectives and benchmarks; report on success towards meeting key performance indicator targets on a regular basis.
• Ad hoc projects supporting the Head of Enterprise Planning and Controls on initiatives that impact company-wide IT.
Education and Experience
BS / MS with a minimum of 5-9 years of relevant IT financial management experience, preferably in the manufacturing/consumer product/pharmaceutical industry. Advanced degree (eg. MS, MBA) preferred.
