Position Overview As a Level 4 Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the architectural vision and strategy for our projects. You will leverage your extensive experience to design robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of iOS ,Progressive Web App ,Java, Angular, Azure cloud services, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimization, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality solutions. Familiarity with DevOps, security, observability, and enterprise integration patterns is highly desirable for this role. Position Responsibilities: The successful candidate will perform the following duties: The team provides comprehensive digitally native mobile, progressive web and innovation solutions to rapidly access and transform complex business scenarios by enabling digital products that enhance revenue opportunities and efficiencies for Boeing. Key Responsibilities: Lead the architectural design and implementation of large-scale, complex solutions across multiple projects. Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define the architectural vision and strategy aligned with business goals. Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including high-level designs, detailed specifications, and architectural roadmaps. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices. Facilitate architectural reviews and design sessions, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance solution delivery and performance. Identify and mitigate architectural risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION PWA: Angular 11, Service workers, Cache Mechanism, Storage Framework like Dexie.js, Workbox, Node.js, Responsive UI design, AJAX, Java script, HTML 5, CSS3, OAuth, In depth knowledge of PWA concepts iOS: Swift 5, Objective -C, Apple Frameworks – Core Data, Push Notifications, Multi peer Connectivity, iOS memory management, multi-threading using queues, GCD, Operation Queues, SDK/Framework, Cocoapods, XCTest Experience with automated build and release process Knowledge of Cloud security and identity access management [IAM] Knowledge of RDBMS Knowledge of Java backend technologies and experience in integrating with Java business layer systems using Spring, micro services, APIs etc. Able to contribute to build and deployment automation using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Bamboo etc. Experience in application integration/migration with both COTS and In-House applications required. Complete ability to manage all software configuration items, installation and cutover of the computing products within a given scope. Also have experience in ALM tools (GitLab, TFS, ClearCase, SVN). Experience in web hosting technologies/tools. Must have excellent debugging and problem solving skills Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience in Aerospace domain. Knowledge of Architectural and REST principles Proficient in Agile Methodologies (eg. Scrum, Kanban) Python, Shell script, Azure app Service, Azure AD, Azure Cosmos DB DevOps, Continuous Integration. Experience in using any CICD tools like Bamboo/Jenkins, Coverity, SonarQube, Jfrog, Artifactory etc. Optional Skills: These are nice-to-have skills that could add significant value to the role and future growth of the architecture team. Exposure to machine learning or AI workloads, including Azure Cognitive Services or ML pipelines. Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture patterns. Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture or advanced network security concepts. Understanding of cost optimization strategies in Azure. Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud architecture (e.g., combining Azure with AWS or GCP). Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 13 Plus years' related work experience or Master’s Degree with 12+ years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
