About the Role

New Era Technology is looking for an experienced Senior iOS Native Developer to join our team on a full-time contract basis. The selected candidate will work onsite at a client location in Abu Dhabi, contributing to the design and development of high-quality, scalable iOS applications for enterprise-grade solutions.

This role is ideal for a hands-on iOS expert who enjoys building robust mobile applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

•
Design, develop, and maintain advanced iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.

•
Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences.

•
Ensure high performance, quality, security, and responsiveness of iOS applications.

•
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.

•
Conduct code reviews, implement unit testing, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

•
Integrate and manage third-party APIs, SDKs, and libraries.

•
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and application bugs.

•
Stay updated with the latest iOS frameworks, Apple guidelines, tools, and industry trends.

•
Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

•
5+ years of hands-on professional experience in iOS application development.

•
Strong expertise in Swift and Objective-C.

•
In-depth knowledge of iOS SDK, UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.

•
Solid experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.

•
Proficiency with Xcode, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

•
Experience with App Store submission processes and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.

•
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

•
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, onsite environment.

Good to Have

•
Experience working on large-scale or enterprise mobile applications.

•
Exposure to performance optimization and security best practices in iOS.

•
Prior experience working onsite with international clients.
