The Engineering team builds the software powering Veriff, tackling the challenges of online identity in a scalable and innovative way. We’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to help us build a reliable, secure, and high-performing SDK that works seamlessly across a wide range of devices.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to help us build an SDK that is reliable, secure, and high-performing across a wide range of devices and environments. As our user base continues to grow, ensuring a seamless experience — even on older devices and slower networks — is critical.

This role is key to developing a lean, efficient, and scalable app that integrates smoothly with partner applications. Your expertise will help tackle challenges around performance optimisation, reliability, and usability, keeping Veriff at the forefront of digital identity verification.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS SDK using Swift, ensuring high performance, security, and usability

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers

• Addressing challenges related to performance and compatibility across a wide range of devices and network conditions

• Implementing and improving testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing

• Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring other engineers

• Identifying and advocating for new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve development efficiency and product quality

• Proactively identifying bottlenecks and resolving issues to ensure reliability and stability

• Contributing to the technical direction of the iOS SDK and helping shape the future of Veriff’s mobile products

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

• Proven experience as a Senior iOS Engineer with a strong track record in building high-quality iOS applications or SDKs

• Strong expertise in Swift and iOS frameworks (Cocoa Touch, UIKit, etc.)

• Experience designing and maintaining scalable, testable codebases and APIs

• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile applications

• Experience with testing frameworks and automation tools (e.g., unit, integration, performance testing, Fastlane)

• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to drive complex initiatives

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

• Experience developing and maintaining iOS SDKs

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation processes

• Exposure to other platforms (Android, cross-platform frameworks)

• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices
