ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and lead the way in designing, building, and optimizing innovative, scalable, and automated infrastructure solutions on a global scale.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in the Telco industry, possessing deep expertise in IPv4/IPv6 management, network automation, and self-healing network architectures along with Juniper-specific training and certifications.

As a seasoned expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our network and infrastructure to meet future demands, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build resilient and scalable networks, leveraging BGP, OSPF and GRE tunnels for high-performance Layer 2 and Layer 3 architectures.

Implement and oversee automated network provisioning using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages ( like Python and Bash).

Develop disaster recovery plans and high-availability solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and robust failover capabilities.

Proactively monitor and optimize infrastructure performance using open-source code, customized internal applications and AI-driven tools, addressing issues before they impact operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape technology roadmaps and adopt emerging Telco and network infrastructure trends.

Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to customer support teams, junior engineers and operational teams.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience in infrastructure engineering, with significant time in Telco Operator environments.

Advanced knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 deployment strategies, dual-stack environments, and troubleshooting in Telco-scale networks.

Deep proficiency in Linux systems administration, including kernel optimization, virtualization, and security hardening.

Strong experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and advanced routing configurations, including policy-based routing.

Extensive experience with Juniper platforms, including routers (MX Series), switches (EX/QFX Series), and security devices (SRX Series).

Juniper Certifications (JNCIA, JNCIP, JNCIE) or equivalent training, with demonstrated ability to design and manage complex Juniper-based networks.

Proficiency in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and scripting in Python, Bash, or Perl.

Expertise in performance tuning and scaling of network infrastructures, including MySQL clustering and distributed systems.

Experience with source control systems (Git, Subversion) and modern DevOps methodologies.

NICE TO HAVE

Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).

Knowledge of advanced Linux routing, including policy routing and TCP offload engine on SmartNIC’s.
