As our Senior Instore Marketeer – Commercial Strategy Special Formats, you play a crucial role in shaping unique and sometimes complex instore communication concepts ensuring they align with our broader brand and commercial strategy.
In this role, agility is key. For our special formats (i.e. House Of Rituals, Mind Oasis, Outlets) you will operate in a rapidly evolving environment with diverse business needs and accelerated timelines. You will translate strategic opportunities into clear communication concepts, develop the right processes, and confidently engage senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shape special formats strategy; translating unique or one-off business instore opportunities into clear, strategically aligned communication concepts that fit within the broader Rituals’ vision.
• Own the full creative briefing process; bringing structure and clarity in your briefing/handover to designers, copywriters, Traffic, and external partners.
• Lead complex, multi-channel asset development; delivering high volumes of print and digital assets while safeguarding instore customer journey, brand coherence and accuracy.
• Strengthen strategic integration; by connecting special formats initiatives to lines of business, ensuring solutions are commercially relevant and scalable where possible.
• Align and influence stakeholders at various levels; both internal and external, such as higher management, VM, designers, and suppliers.
• Improve and innovate the instore experience; identifying instore opportunities to enhance visual communication, digital integration, and improve the customer flow.
• Drive operational excellence; optimizing workflows and briefing structures, all whilst keeping the shopfloor (operations & implementation) top of mind, and embedding best practices across teams.
You are an agile, strategic marketer who thrives in dynamic environments. You enjoy bringing structure to new, complex, or evolving challenges and can confidently guide diverse stakeholders through them. You also bring:
• Demonstrated experience in retail marketing, with multiple years managing and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead fast-paced, high-complexity projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong understanding of creating POS materials, print production, and digital instore touchpoints.
• Experience in navigating senior stakeholder environments, ideally including Director or C-suite level.
• A structured, analytical mindset with the ability to develop scalable processes.
• The confidence to challenge, make decisions, and act as a trusted sparring partner to Management.
