We are looking for a Senior Implementation Engineer to join our Integrations Architecture team. You will be the go-to expert for designing and advising on the infrastructure that supports critical interfaces and Identity Management to the Mark43 Product. Your work will directly impact public safety organizations, helping them streamline and secure their operations through high-quality, resilient technology solutions.

What You’ll Do

If you were part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week:

• Design solutions and advise internal teams on the best practices for maintaining and deploying a hybrid infrastructure to support Customer system integrations.

• Troubleshoot an issue within a containerized cluster running on AWS, collaborating with engineering and customer success teams.

• Work through a complex, non-standard support request involving custom Linux configurations and/or a serverless setup.

• Document a set of reusable infrastructure patterns that improve efficiency and reliability across deployments.

• Participate in strategy sessions to evolve our infrastructure approach for scaling interface delivery.

• Understand and leverage various Identity and Management systems (Single Sign-on service provider) to provide SSO authentication to customers.

• Understand and be able to implement certificates in Linux and clustered environments.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a Senior Solutions Architect with 10+ years of professional experience managing and troubleshooting both Linux and Windows environments. Experience working within containerized and clustered infrastructures - particularly in AWS - is key. You should be adept at navigating SaaS administration. You will be expected to clearly communicate technical hurdles, requirements, and solutions to internal stakeholders in a professional manner. Due to the nature of our customers this position requires U.S Citizenship status.

Relevant Skills

Containerization & Orchestration:

• Experience with Kubernetes (scaling, troubleshooting)

• Hands-on with Rancher for multi-cluster management and policy enforcement

Infrastructure as Code:

• Proficient authoring and maintaining Terraform modules and workspaces

• Familiarity with best-practices around state storage & CI integration

CI/CD Automation:

• Designing, building, and operating pipelines in GitHub Actions (build, test, deploy)

• Experience with branching strategies, required checks, and secrets management

Identity & Access Management:

• Implementing SSO (SAML/OAuth2/OpenID Connect) flows as a service provider

Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure:

• AWS container services (EKS, ECS), serverless (Lambda) and on-prem integrations

• Hybrid networking (VPN, Direct Connect) and Linux certificate management

Linux & Windows Administration:

• Custom kernel configurations, package management, security hardening

• Certificate issuance/rotation (OpenSSL, Let’s Encrypt, enterprise CAs)

Soft Skills:

• Ability to document and codify reusable patterns for team-wide adoption
