Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and growth across all departments
Act as a connector between leadership vision and employee experience—making strategy real at the ground level
Talent Acquisition & Creative Recruiting
Own full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to offer, with a focus on culture fit and long-term success
Leverage non-traditional recruiting channels beyond Indeed (referrals, networking, community outreach, trade schools, social platforms, etc.)
Partner with hiring managers to elevate hiring decisions and build strong, cohesive teams
Lead onboarding experiences that engage, energize, and set new hires up for success from day one
Employee Engagement, Retention & Development
Design and support initiatives that improve engagement, morale, and retention
Champion training, coaching, and continuous development programs for employees and managers
Support recognition efforts, company events, and internal communications that strengthen connection and culture
Employee Relations & Performance Management
Serve as a go-to resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations
Coach leaders through performance conversations, corrective actions, and documentation
Support and administer performance management processes and improvement plans
Compliance & HR Operations
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain accurate, secure employee records and HR documentation
Administer leaves of absence, including FMLA and applicable state programs
Compensation, Benefits & HR Systems
Support benefits administration, enrollment, and employee education
Assist with compensation reviews, internal equity, and competitive benchmarking
Utilize HRIS tools to manage employee data, reporting, and process efficiency
Policies & Process Improvement
Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and workflows
Support implementation of HR tools and technology that enhance the employee experience
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
3–5+ years of HR Generalist experience
Strong background in recruiting, employee relations, and performance management
Solid understanding of employment laws and HR compliance
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
A proactive, solutions-driven mindset
Strong communicator who can build trust across all levels
Experience with HRIS systems (Salesforce or CRM experience is a plus)
High energy, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable being visible and hands-on
Strong understanding of culture fit, engagement, and retention strategies
Confident communicator who can influence at all levels of the organization
Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution
Comfortable guiding leadership while also supporting employees
Experience in construction, trades, or fast-growing organizations is a plus
