Job Description:
This role will be instrumental in establishing and supporting all HR functions for our Shared Services center in Colombia, ensuring alignment with global HR strategies while adapting to local regulations and cultural nuances. The Senior HR Generalist will play a critical role in adding value to a strong foundation for the HR function, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and driving employee engagement and development.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in the recruitment process by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, and coordinating interviews.
Process necessary documents for new hires, draft offer letters, and send out onboarding materials to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
Maintain accurate employee records and answer day-to-day HR-related inquiries.
Conduct background checks for potential hires as part of the screening process.
Collaborate with employees daily to address their needs and concerns, fostering a positive work environment.
Work collaboratively with the HR team to achieve departmental goals and initiatives.
Support payroll processing for the indicated internal customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Needed:
Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience as an HR professional in a fast-paced environment with a workforce of 130+ employees.
Basic knowledge of Colombian labor laws and regulations.
Experience with HRIS systems.
Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) - C1 Level.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
Strong Excel/Google sheets mastering and database maintenance.
