Job Description
We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join a fast-growing, international-scale-up at a critical stage of its growth. Based in Tallinn in a hybrid set up, this role supports a globally distributed leadership team and an international workforce of approximately 200 employees.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments, combines strategic thinking with operational precision, and can confidently partner with senior global stakeholders. You will bring strong commercial acumen, act as a culture builder, and apply deep knowledge of Estonian employment law in a way that enables speed, clarity, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities.
Strategic Architecture & Organisational Design
You won’t just fill seats; you will design the house. You’ll partner with Global VPs and Directors to ensure our structure supports our ambitions.
Workforce Evolution: Lead organisational design sessions to ensure our teams are lean, high-performing, and structured for speed.
Strategic Advisory: Act as a "thought partner" to leadership, offering honest conversations and data-driven insights needed to move the needle.
The Estonian Legal "Enabler"
Here, you are the "How" department.
Pragmatic Compliance: Use your deep knowledge of Estonian labor law to create solutions that are both legally sound and commercially & culturally agile putting people at the heart of compliance
Operational Excellence: Oversee our employee lifecycle from talent sourcing to complex employee relations with a focus on precision and agility.
Culture as a Competitive Advantage
Culture can dilute during rapid growth. Your job is to make sure ours gets stronger.
Leadership Coaching: Up-level our management layer, teaching them how to drive accountability without sacrificing empathy.
Engagement Loops: Use real-time data to identify friction points in the employee experience and solve them before they become "issues."
Global-Local Bridge
You are the local expert with a global mindset. You’ll ensure that global initiatives (like new performance frameworks or compensation reviews) land perfectly in the Estonian context while ensuring our teams get best in class employee experience.
The Reality of the Role
To be transparent, this isn't a "maintenance" role.
The Pace: We move fast. You’ll need to be comfortable with 80% certainty and 100% action.
The Ambiguity: Not every process is written down yet. You’ll be the one writing the playbook while we’re playing the game.
The Stakeholders: You’ll be dealing with high-IQ, high-drive global leaders who value directness, data, and commercial logic.
What you’ll bring to the role.
