We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist and Business Operations Specialist to apply "best practices" to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations, records management and compliance, and support improvements in operational efficiency across a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes and separations, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Maintain and audit employee records ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all HR systems
Support payroll operations, including review of payroll changes, employee expense reimbursements and as backup to the Payroll Administrator when needed
Develop, implement, and maintain company employee policies, procedures, and handbooks
Manage leave of absence programs including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and other leave requirements across a multi-state workforce
Coordinate benefits administration including enrollments, vendor communication, open enrollment and invoice reviews
Respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims
Monitor HR compliance deadlines and assist with policy updates
Required Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of progressive HR experience across payroll, benefits, compliance, workers’ compensation and leave experience supporting a multi-state workforce with salaried employees
Strong understanding of HR and Operations best practices
Systems: Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and BambooHR
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters
Collaborative and approachable communication style
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
PHR or SHRM-CP certification
