<key activities / role and responsibilities>

Perform harness design (connection design, routing design, mechanical support bracket design) for satellites designed/manufactured by Astroscale.

As Electrical Systems Engineer, coordinate with subsystems in terms of harness design.

Prepare technical and procurement specifications for electrical cables/harnesses.

Coordinate with cable suppliers regarding cable specifications.

 Manage the procurement and shipping status of cable vendors and harness manufacturers from a technical aspect

 Manage ICDs (Interface Control Documents) for subsystems and components from a harness design perspective.

 Design test harnesses for electrical testing of components and subsystems.

Review cable/harness test/inspection results.

Prepare harness assembly drawings and harness assembly procedures for satellite system integration.

Work with the systems team to manage harness assembly activities and provide direction to technicians.

<Mandatory>

 Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field

 5+ years of aerospace harness design experience

 Must be comfortable communicating in English

 Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering and machine utilization 
Native level of Japanese

<Desirable> 

Experience in satellite development

Experience working with global teams

Business level English proficiency

Experience using the following tools.
・Solidworks (CATIA) 
・EPLAN 
・CR8000

＜職務内容/役割・責任＞

アストロスケールが設計/製造する衛星のハーネス設計（接続設計、ルーティング設計、メカニカルサポートブラケット設計）を行う。

 電気システムエンジニアとして、ハーネス設計の観点からサブシステムとの調整を行う。

 電気ケーブル/ハーネスの技術仕様および調達仕様の作成する。

 ケーブル仕様に関するケーブルサプライヤーとの調整を行う。

 ケーブルベンダーやハーネスメーカーの調達・出荷状況を技術的側面から管理する。

 ハーネス設計の観点から、サブシステムやコンポーネントのICD（インターフェース制御文書）を管理する。

 コンポーネントやサブシステムの電気試験用テストハーネスの設計を行う。

 ケーブル／ハーネスの試験／検査結果をレビューする。

 衛星システム統合のためのハーネス組立図とハーネス組立手順書を作成する。

 システムチームと連携し、ハーネス組立作業を管理し、技術者に指示を与える。

<必須条件>

 電気工学又は関連分野の学士号又は修士号

 航空宇宙のハーネス設計の5年以上の経験

 英語でのコミュニケーションに抵抗のないこと

 機械工学及び機械利用に関する基礎知識

母国語レベルの日本語

衛星の開発経験

グローバルチームとの取り組み経験

ビジネスレベルの英語能力
