Dein Tag bei MEGWARE
Prüfen und Testen von Server-Hardware unter Linux-Betriebssystemen (Installationen, Boot-Verhalten, Treiber- und Firmware-Updates, Stabilitätstests)
Dokumentation von Problemen und Lösungen (Fehlerberichte, Troubleshooting-Schritte, Änderungsverfolgung)
Kommunikation mit dem Support der Hardware-Hersteller
Kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Test- und Auswertungs-Tools unter Linux (Skripte, Pipelines, Automatisierung von Testfällen, Logging, Berichterstattung)
Validierung neuer Technologien im Bereich Hochleistungsrechnen
Evaluierung von neuen Server-Komponenten und -Technologien, Benchmarking, Kompatibilitätsprüfungen, Risikoanalyse
Das bringst Du mit
Abgeschlossenes Studium oder gleichwertige Berufserfahrung in Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Informatikkonstruktion oder verwandten Bereichen
Fundierte Kenntnisse über Server-Hardware-Komponenten und deren Integration
Praktische Erfahrung mit Linux-Server-Umgebungen (z. B. Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS oder ähnliche), inklusive Shell-Scripting (Bash) und grundlegenden Systemwerkzeugen
Erfahrung in Fehlerdokumentation und Bug-Tracking
Grundkenntnisse in Testautomatisierung und Tool-Entwicklung unter Linux (Skripte, automatisierte Tests, Logging, ggf. CI/CD-Grundlagen).
Gute Englischkenntnisse
Lösungsorientierte, strukturierte Arbeitsweise
Teamfähigkeit und gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten
