THE ROLE
The communications team at IP Group is responsible for building a truly differentiated reputation for the firm through its communication strategies.
Reporting into the Head of Communications, we are looking to hire a Senior Graphics and Communications Lead as a fixed term maternity cover contract, for 6 – 9 months, with the possibility for extension, ideally beginning April 2026.
The Senior Graphics and Communications Lead would have, above all, an innate curiosity about the sectors and the companies in which we invest, a passion for writing, and an exceptional capacity to translate complex concepts into simple, powerful stories.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media - Maintain LinkedIn and X pages, sharing company and portfolio news and creating content for awareness days and LinkedIn ad campaigns.
Website (CMS) - Managing the Group websites for both the plc and Australia businesses, keeping them relevant & up to date.
Intranet – Maintain internal company intranet by uploading videos and news.
Content (Copy and design) – Ideate and design high quality visuals (GIFs and static images) and content to use on the Group's owned channels (social media, website, newsletter) to effectively showcase expertise, insights, thought leadership, impact and talent.
Newsletter (Mailchimp) – Collect internal and portfolio news to produce regular newsletters, working closely with internal stakeholders while creating visuals and writing stories that highlight key updates.
Event materials – Support the company’s events by creating materials such as invites, backdrops, menus, bespoke graphics and branded marketing materials.
Document design – Produce PowerPoint presentations and templates, business cards, reports and summary sheets.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential:
PowerPoint skills
Graphic Design/Photoshop/InDesign
Proven passion for writing in a professional or personal capacity
Experience of using website CMS
Experience of delivering communications across multiple platforms
Experience with managing social media pages
Keen attention to detail
Desired:
Previous experience in a professional role with copywriting as a core discipline
Previous experience working for a plc; familiarity with reporting cycles
Experience working in a team and contributing creative ideas
Salary up to £65,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. Generous pension and benefits package included.
