The team you'll join: 
You will join our Creative Team in Wellington as a Senior Graphic Designer on a twelve-month fixed term maternity leave contract.
This team powers Deloitte’s visual storytelling, a collaborative group of designers and creatives who turn ideas into compelling digital experiences. Working closely with marketing, communications and business leaders, you will craft high impact campaigns, proposals, presentations, animations and online content that bring Deloitte’s brand to life.
You will partner with specialists across proposals, video, content, print and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence driven design tools, while connecting with creative talent across Deloitte’s global network. The impact you’ll make:
You will be the creative force behind digital first design that brings Deloitte stories, pitches and campaigns to life.
• Transform briefs into thoughtful, compelling ideas that connect with audiences and strengthen Deloitte brand presence
• Produce polished and purposeful design across digital channels, from social and website content to animated graphics, online reports and dynamic presentations
• Manage multiple projects with confidence, delivering high quality work while maintaining agreed timelines
• Work closely with a talented creative, marketing and communications team to shape content that supports business growth
• Contribute to the development of outstanding bids and proposals that help secure new opportunities
• Bring creativity to motion, video and multimedia pieces in collaboration with internal and external partners
• Maintain brand consistency while adapting design approaches for different business units and campaigns
• Explore and adopt emerging artificial intelligence tools to enhance creativity and efficiency
• Support photo and video shoots with strong visual direction and an eye for storytelling
Your expertise:
• A formal qualification in graphic design, visual communication or a related creative discipline
• More than four to five years of practical experience in an agency or internal design team
• A portfolio that demonstrates modern digital design, strong conceptual thinking, refined typography and thoughtful layout
• Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects
• Capability and confidence across digital and print environments
• A working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word to create presentations and other documents like reports and proposals
• Experience with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Clipchamp or similar applications
• Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence platforms and a desire to explore new creative technologies
• Excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain design thinking and collaborate effectively with people at every level
• Highly organised, adaptable and proactive, with the ability to manage and prioritise competing deadlines, as part of a team, or independently
• A positive, team oriented mindset and a genuine enthusiasm that contributes to a supportive creative culture
