Senior Graphic Designer

JOB PURPOSE:

The job holder will be responsible for developing innovative visual solutions that translate client briefs into compelling creative outputs across diverse advertising channels. The Senior Graphic Designer will lead the design process from initial brainstorming through to final artwork delivery, ensuring that all visual communications are aligned with overarching creative concepts and brand strategies. Working closely with the Art Director, the role involves interpreting creative direction into high-quality design work that resonates with target audiences. The Senior Graphic Designer will also play a key role in mentoring junior designers, upholding creative standards, and ensuring consistency and excellence across all project phases.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

● Collaborate with the copywriter to generate clear ideas and concepts that align with client objectives and brand guidelines

● Create sketches and storyboard roughs to visualize ideas before proceeding to final design execution

● Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience to ensure designs effectively communicate the intended message

● Work with the creative team across various media platforms including digital, print, social media, and outdoor advertising

● Take projects from concept to final execution within set deadlines while maintaining high quality standards throughout the design process

● Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure our creative output remains innovative and competitive

● Present design concepts and rationale to clients and internal stakeholders with confidence and clear communication

● Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to help develop their skills and maintain design consistency across projects

● Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks effectively to meet all client deadlines and deliverables

● Ensure brand consistency across all design materials and maintain adherence to client brand guidelines and agency quality standards

● Leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g. generative design, image enhancement, layout automation) to enhance creative workflows and improve efficiency without compromising craft

4- JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or related design field

Experience

3-5 years of proven experience particularly in the digital advertising and agency environment. Portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and diverse design projects across multiple media platforms

Skills

● Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

● Advanced knowledge of AI design tools and their practical applications

● Proficiency in After Effects for motion graphics and video editing

● Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to detail

● Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition

● Excellent communication and presentation skills

● Strong team collaboration abilities and mentoring capabilities

● Time management and ability to work under pressure with multiple projects

● Experience in branding and identity design

● 3D design skills (Maya, Cinema 4D, or Blender) are a plus
