Senior GL Accountant - Maternity Leave

The role: The person is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Legal entity's general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate month-end closings, compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and supporting internal and external audits. This role acts as a key link between accounting operations and financial reporting.

What will you do::
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting policies. Oversee fixed assets accounting and depreciation schedules. Support consolidation processes if part of a group structure. Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and other finance functions

Requirements::
Background: 5/6 years of accounting experience, with solid exposure to GL and month-end activities. Professional Skills: Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP. ·       Language Skills: Proficient English & Italian. IT Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Other details::
Location : Gallarate (VA). Working hours : Full time, 40h/week, from Monday to Friday. You can start your day between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., enjoy a lunch break of 1 to 1.5 hours anytime between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., and wrap up your workday starting from 5:00 pm while completing a full 8-hour workday.
