We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant / Business Analyst with strong experience in Discovery and requirements gathering, capable of leading strategic sessions with stakeholders in the United States.
This role is critical to understanding client needs, translating them into clear functional solutions, and leading discovery sessions to ensure proper scope definition and project alignment. The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills, strong analytical thinking, and experience working in international environments.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders (primarily in the United States).
• Conduct requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for business and functional needs.
• Translate client needs into user stories, use cases, and clear functional specifications.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and scope definition sessions.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities during the discovery phase.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
• Collaborate with development, UX/UI, and product teams to ensure successful delivery.
Desired Profile
• Seniority: Senior (5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant).
• Strong experience in Discovery, Requirements Gathering, and Business Analysis.
• Experience working with international clients (preferably US-based stakeholders).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead sessions with senior-level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Proactive and self-driven.
Technical Skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong background in functional documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories, etc.).
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• General understanding of software development lifecycle and product delivery.
Soft Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Leadership and facilitation skills.
• Strategic thinking.
• Adaptability to multicultural environments.
Additional Requirements
• Advanced English (mandatory).
• Valid visa and passport (mandatory).
• Availability to travel frequently to the United States.
• Location: Mexico (Mexico Only).
• Work model: Remote with travel to the United States.
