We’re looking for a frontend-leaning Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Wolt Drive team, building and scaling Wolt’s suite of Logistics-as-a-Service products:

• Wolt Drive: our core delivery-as-a-service product that lets merchants tap into Wolt’s courier partner network and offer fast delivery directly from their own ecommerce channels.

• Wolt Parcel: an ambitious early-stage product with which we aim to reshape traditional parcel logistics across Europe.

• Packages: our consumer-facing logistics service that allows anyone with the Wolt app to send things quickly and conveniently across the city in just a few taps.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you’ll design and ship end-to-end features across the Wolt Drive product family - from consumer tracking experiences to merchant tools and internal operations portal. You’ll work closely with product, design, and operations to turn real-world delivery problems into simple, intuitive web experiences. As a frontend-leaning fullstack engineer, you’ll focus on great web UX while also diving into backend APIs and integrations when needed.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

• Build and own end-to-end features for our customer-facing and internal applications, including the tracking page, Wolt Drive Web, the admin portal, and support tooling.

• Collaborate with engineers, product leads, designers, and operations stakeholders to shape our product experience first-hand.

• Develop reusable, testable, and maintainable UI components and libraries that are shared across teams.

• Jump into backend APIs and integrations when it helps you ship end-to-end features, working closely with backend-focused teammates.

• Balance short-term deliverables with long-term platform health to ensure a maintainable and extensible codebase.

• Champion best practices, mentor other engineers, and continually raise the bar for code quality and developer experience.

Our humble expectations

We don’t expect you to tick every box, but some of the things that will help you succeed in this role are:

• Several years of professional experience building modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript.

• At least a couple of years of experience designing and building scalable backend systems using Node.js, Python, or Go.

• Hands-on experience working with non-relational datastores such as MongoDB, Redis or Cassandra.

• Ability to comfortably read and reason about Python code, even if it’s not your primary backend language.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure.

• A proven track record of leading and driving technical projects, from idea to production.

• Strong communication skills and experience mentoring and supporting other engineers in their growth.
