Ryz Labs is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our client's small, fast-moving team, and help shape the next chapter of their platform. You’ll stay deeply involved in the codebase while steering technical decisions, mentoring teammates, and laying the groundwork for an engineering culture built on collaboration, pragmatism, and innovation. Our client is a media-technology platform transforming how communities share life’s biggest moments — from memorials to milestones. They partner with local businesses and media organizations — including Hearst, Sinclair, Gray Television, Paramount/CBS, and hundreds of local affiliates — to automate the creation and distribution of media content. Their fully automated storytelling pipeline powers everything from obituaries and community spotlights to brand and business announcements, helping millions reconnect with local stories told with dignity, authenticity, and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack applications using React/Next.js on the frontend and Python/FastAPI on the backend.
- Design and implement REST APIs and microservices with high performance, scalability, and security.
- Build responsive UI components using Tailwind CSS/Bootstrap and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate front-end applications with backend services and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) in an Agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment processes (Vercel/AWS/GCP).
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

- 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience with expertise in both frontend and backend development.
- Frontend experience:
React & Next.js,
Tailwind CSS / Bootstrap
Cloud deployment experience (Vercel / AWS / GCP)
- Backend experience:
Python (FastAPI)
SQL Alchemy (any ORM)
REST API & Microservices
SQL/NoSQL databases

Good to have skills:

- Pydantic, Typing
- CI/CD pipeline knowledge
- Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP / Vercel)
- Basic DevOps understanding
