We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our On-Demand Team and shape the future of digital content. In this role, you will be a key player in a self-organized agile team, working on the full lifecycle of on-demand audio and video content. From content ingest and encoding to AI-based metadata enrichment and delivery. Your work will directly impact millions of users by improving content discovery and access for our leading media brands, including BILD and WELT. • you design, build, test, deploy and operate production services end to end in an agile, product-focused team
• you develop and evolve our microservice ecosystem, creating new services that are observable, resilient and horizontally scalable
• you raise the quality bar by writing lean, well-tested code (unit, integration, acceptance) and using BDD where it adds value
• you automate everything by codifying infrastructure and delivery (GitOps/CI/CD) to boost speed with the right guardrails
• you keep production healthy by instrumenting metrics, logs and traces, and turning incidents into learning

• you have 8+ years of professional experience in delivering software
• you bring depth in one or two areas: backend, data, observability, cloud and strong secondary skills across others, connecting dots across the stack
• you are hands-on across the lifecycle - from requirements and design to implementation, testing and operations
• you have significant experience in at least two of the following : Agile/Lean, BDD, DevOps/GitOps, multiple programming languages or modern UI development
• you learn fast and stay pragmatic - choosing the right tool for the job
