Senior Fullstack Developer (m/f/d)

Your team:
The Digital Engineering business unit combines deep engineering with modern technology to deliver engineering tools that empower automotive teams to design, test and validate advanced vehicle functions and complex automotive systems.

Your mission:
• In your role, you develop fullstack applications with React, Next.js and a serverless AWS backend
• Along the way, you build modern UIs using TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Material Design 3
• You also design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs (e.g. AppSync, API Gateway)
• For authentication and file handling, you rely on AWS Cognito, Amazon S3 and Infrastructure as Code with CloudFormation or CDK
• Using TDD, automated tests and CI/CD with GitLab, you ensure quality and stability

Your profile:
• You have a successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable successfully completed apprenticeship
• You are self-confident and like to contribute creative ideas, you enjoy working in a team and open communication is a matter of course for you

Must-have::
• In the past, you have already worked extensively with TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), React and Next.js
• When building UIs, you have already confidently used HTML5, CSS3 and a UI framework such as Material Design
• In the API space, you have already designed and integrated REST APIs, ideally also GraphQL
• With cloud technologies, you have already gained experience on AWS (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway/AppSync, S3, Cognito, IAM)
• In projects, you have already used Git and GitLab CI/CD in production and worked with automated tests/TDD
• For data storage, you have already had exposure to NoSQL/document databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
• You have very good German and English skills

Nice-to-have::
• Ideally, you have already worked with SST or the Serverless Framework
• Even better if you already have in-depth knowledge of GraphQL with AWS AppSync
• It’s a plus if you have already implemented monitoring & logging with Amazon CloudWatch
• Ideally, you have set up more complex auth flows in Cognito (e.g. MFA, social logins)
• And if you have already built sophisticated deployment setups in GitLab CI/CD, that’s another strong plus
