Senior Full-stack Engineer (Vue/Python) - Brazil

Space Inch continues to grow! Following a string of successful hires, we’re expanding our engineering team once again.

We’re currently looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer to contribute to one of our longest-running and most successful projects. You’ll be part of an established Space Inch engineering team while also collaborating closely with our client’s team - a major global FinTech corporation in the field of investment management with multiple long-term initiatives underway.

About Working at Space Inch

• Our team is around 80 people, primarily based in Croatia, but also with members in South America, Serbia, and the US; the product team mostly being in the US, and engineering in Croatia and Brazil
• We are remote-first, but occasional travel may be required, e.g. for our annual company retreats in Croatia
• We work on end-to-end projects with a long-term vision

Requirements:
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years working with TypeScript and Vue.js (preferably if you have recent experience with Vue 3)
• Strong skills in Tailwind CSS, Storybook, and component-based architectures
• Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization and responsive design
• Familiarity with backend development; Python experience is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Must be based in Brazil

Key Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices
• Build scalable, high-quality Vue.js applications
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and backend engineers
• Conduct code reviews and mentor developers
• Stay current with frontend trends and propose improvements
• Getting up to speed and learning Python for occasional BE work
