About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale EkLines AI-powered documentation platform. You'll work directly with the founders to deliver new features across our web application, VS Code extension, and GitHub app. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who thrives in early-stage startup environments, takes ownership from day one, and delivers measurable impact for users.

Success in the First 3-6 Months

• Deliver multiple high-impact features that improve customer workflows.

• Ship reliable, maintainable code in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with full test coverage.

• Improve platform performance and scalability by at least 20%.

• Lead technical decisions for new integrations and API enhancements.

• Mentor junior engineers, raising team code quality and velocity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance our web application and platform integrations.

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for cross-system integration.

• Collaborate with founders on product design, architecture, and roadmap.

• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across all systems.

• Implement secure, scalable infrastructure using Google Cloud services.

• Conduct code reviews and support junior engineers growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Full Stack Engineer.

• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

• Strong API development and deployment experience.

• Skilled with SQL and NoSQL databases (BigQuery, Firestore preferred).

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Experience in early-stage startups or SaaS platforms.

• Strong ownership mindset, excellent communication skills, and commitment to continuous learning.

• Experience using AI tools to boost engineering productivity.

• English: C1 or C2 level for daily communication with U.S.-based team.

• Able to work at least 6 hours overlap with PST (9 AM - 3 PM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Next.js and Tailwind CSS experience.

• Python development experience.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud backend tools.

• Understanding of NLP, machine learning, and AI workflow integrations.

Compensation & Logistics

• Annual Salary: $60,000-$72,000 USD

• Early-stage equity and performance-based bonuses.

• Fully remote from anywhere in Latin America.

• Flexible hours with required PST overlap.
