Production Systems | Immediate Impact Role

We are hiring Full Stack Engineers for a full-time contract engagement supporting a US-based client in the e-commerce space.
This is a production-focused role, not a greenfield opportunity. The client needs engineers who can ramp up quickly, work comfortably in existing codebases, and contribute to live, customer-facing systems with real business impact.
The strongest profiles for this role are engineers with solid PHP backend experience, ideally with Symfony, plus good frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, whether through Angular, React, or Vue. Angular experience is valuable, but strong TypeScript fundamentals and the ability to work in modern frontend environments matter most.
This role is best suited for engineers who are comfortable discussing technical decisions in English, working in structured development environments, and collaborating on mature products where performance, maintainability, and delivery quality matter.

What You’ll Do

• Build and improve full stack features across backend and frontend
• Develop and maintain backend services primarily in PHP, ideally using Symfony
• Work with modern frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Contribute to live production systems with real users and transaction-sensitive flows
• Work on existing and legacy codebases, improving maintainability and performance
• Support integrations, APIs, and data flows across distributed systems when needed
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and structured delivery processes
• Collaborate in English with technical stakeholders and client-facing teams
• Adapt to AI-assisted development workflows when part of the client’s process

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Advanced English communication skills IS A MUST
• Strong backend background in PHP within production environments
• Hands-on experience with Symfony or another MVC framework
• Solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in production applications
• Frontend experience with Angular, React, or Vue
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs
• Strong experience working on mature production systems, not only greenfield projects
• Experience improving or refactoring legacy codebases
• Good understanding of performance, scalability, concurrency, or high-demand environments
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Ability to explain technical decisions clearly in English

Strong Plus

• Production experience in e-commerce or transaction-heavy platforms
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with distributed systems, queues, caching, or asynchronous processing
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Gemini, CodeRabbit, or similar

Ideal Profile

• We are especially interested in engineers who:
• Are stronger on backend than purely UI/frontend work
• Can speak credibly about real systems they have built or improved
• Are comfortable discussing architecture, performance, concurrency, or maintainability
• Can adapt across technologies without needing exact one-to-one stack matching
• Are execution-oriented and able to contribute with limited onboarding
• Communicate clearly and confidently with US-based teams

Hiring Process

• Resume review.
• DaCodes prescreening interview (technical alignment and communication validation).
• Take-home technical assessment (open-resource, focused on real full stack scenarios). The expected turnaround time is 3 days.
• Submission to the client including CV and completed assessment.
• Live technical interview (discussion of the assessment and technical deep dive).
• Final decision.

Given the pace of this engagement, it is important that candidates have availability to complete the technical assessment within the expected timeframe, as it is part of the submission package shared with the client.
