Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the Position

We’re hiring our first engineer in the New York office. You’ll spearhead development of LLM‑powered products at the forefront of marketing and advertising technologies. You’ll own delivery from idea to production and set the tone for engineering craft across our NY–EU offices.

You’ll partner closely with product and design to turn ambiguous problem spaces into crisp, user‑facing experiences that perform, scale, and are easy to iterate on.

You’ll also help define our cross‑Atlantic collaboration rhythms: communication standards, documentation practices, and ceremonies that keep New York and Europe aligned.

This role is based in our NYC office and follows a hybrid working policy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable, secure web applications.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for speed and scalability.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

• Collaborate across offices: drive clear communication with engineering in Europe (RFCs, decision records, async updates). Cultivate a culture of collaboration and innovation.

• Adapt quickly: navigate shifting priorities with a bias to action; make reversible decisions, learn fast from user feedback, and iterate.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full‑stack web development.

• Proven experience with TypeScript and React, and building full‑stack applications with these technologies.

• Familiarity with the latest advancements in the React ecosystem.

• Demonstrated ownership of end‑to‑end delivery (from prototype to production), using modern CI/CD, feature flags, and telemetry to ship safely at speed.

• Product‑minded: you care about UX quality, customer experience, and software quality.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

• Startup‑ready: flexible, comfortable with ambiguity and constant change; proactive about process, documentation, and reliability without over‑engineering.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to guide and inspire a team.
