Summary

Codazen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to lead the charge in building enterprise-scale applications. You’ll be hands-on in coding, shaping architecture, and delivering high-impact solutions while also serving as a trusted client partner—presenting features, gathering requirements, and ensuring success. Beyond the code, you’ll mentor engineers, champion best practices, and drive quality across projects, making an impact on both our clients and our team.

Role Responsibilities 

• Consistently deliver enterprise-scale web-based Digital and Enterprise solutions 

• Leverage breadth and depth of knowledge to drive architecture, design, and implementation strategy decisions at the feature and overall solution level

• Build high-performance, web-based applications with React and PHP

• Architect the backbone of our applications by building robust backend infrastructure that seamlessly fuels our dynamic user interfaces

• Implement secure, scalable APIs using GraphQL

• Implement engaging UI leveraging HTML/CSS to layout and style components based on style guide and design comps

• Define and implement backend storage models for both SQL and NoSQL databases

• Possess the ability to act as a POC, leading client meetings, collecting requirements, and the ability to demo/present new features to the client

• Promote and drive quality engineering initiatives and best practices 

• Be an advocate for implementation and process best practices 

• Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be leveraged to strengthen our platform and development practices 

• Promote cross-team and cross-company communication practices that share knowledge and best practices 

• Deeply understands what drives the business to influence direction and strategy of solutions 

• Active in coaching and mentoring junior engineers

• Participating in code reviews for fellow engineers

• Hybrid position: 3 days on-site, MWF based out of Irvine, CA

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years  in a Senior Full-Stack Engineering role, delivering enterprise-scale web-based solutions and experiences

• Hands-on, professional coding experience with the latest versions of modern Javascript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue

• Demonstrated history of engaging with clients in external-facing roles

• A passion for creating high-quality value-based software and user experiences 

• Extensive experience with software engineering and object-oriented coding principles 

• Proven ability to prioritize and manage risks in all forms 

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both at the technical and business level 

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills 

• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership in everything you do and deliver

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.
Irvine Pay Range
$160,000—$190,000 USD
