About the Company:

Aquaticode develops proprietary image based Artificial Intelligence technologies for improved efficiency and quality in Aquaculture. It is a portfolio company of Nacre Capital, a venture builder with success in creating and growing Artificial Intelligence companies, such as Face.com (acquired by Facebook), FDNA and Seed-X.

We are seeking a talented and ambitious engineer with some expertise in Machine Vision and vast development skills to join our team. To do this job successfully, you need to have a track record of building computer vision services in Windows (Linux is a plus), understanding UI / UX development, building and maintaining APIs for integration and experience in deployment efforts. Moreover, a basis of computer science theory, data structures and algorithms.

Requirements:
• Proven experience of at least 8 years as a Full Stack/Back End Engineer.
• Technical / team leadership experience is a plus.
• Experience with image / video products (HW support, processing, saving etc.)
• Experience with micro-services architecture,
• Deep understanding of multithreading and message queues environment.
• Experience with deployment and integration of systems.
• Proficiency in Python is a MUST.
• Familiarity with windows development (linux is a plus).
• Experience with C/C++, JavaScript / React and flutter is a plus.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, Git and software architecture.
• Ability to write clean and robust code.
• Fluent english, communicative and out of the box thinker.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science/Eng., Mathematics or similar field; Master’s/Phd degree is a plus.
• Understanding of Deep learning and AI algorithms is a plus.
• Experience with Docker is a plus.
• Experience with databases and automation platforms is a plus.
• Experience with data management and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software and applications based on ML algorithms
• Help to build the company core products (client/server side)
• Implement data processing and management pipelines
• Measure and accelerate processing time of queries
• Build a scalable backend composed of many algorithms, provided by our AI team
• Help to keep abreast of innovation in the field
• Help us find and technically lead excellent professionals to grow the team
