Senior Full Stack Developer (Python/VueJS)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Full-Stack Developer

You would work together with a small team consisting of the tech founder, backend and front-end developer in creating and maintaining new products in the sphere of E-Commerce, supply chain management, and VR/AR among other fields. You would shape the future of tech products in our company. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and you have a strong full stack web development background (preferably Python, PHP and JavaScript).

Typical problems that you would solve

• How to connect our backend Python-based software with our partners via APIs?
• How could we automate our supply chain management from the arrival of the product to the delivery with our own truck fleet to our customers?
• How could we scale our backend and optimize performance?
• How could we deliver to our customers personalized recommendations according to their taste, behavior on- and offsite and social media experiences?
• How can we help our customer to optimize the process of finding quality furniture in the most convenient way?
• Helping our customers to find the right product in services or devices, where she or he spends most of its time - e.g. m-commerce, messaging, AR, VR
• How could we make the fitting of furniture (size and position) more tangible for our customers via mobile phones or future potential AR/VR glasses?
• How can we effectively work together with external development partners and manage their work?
• How can we effectively lead a small group of in-house developers to achieve our common goals?

• You can show extensive experience with web languages (backend languages like Python and NodeJS and frontend frameworks like VueJS)
• You have already first experience in leading and guiding colleagues
• You have experience with source control systems (e.g. Git) and understanding of branching strategies (merging, rebasing and cherry-picking)
• You possess solid relational database experience (PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch but not necessarily a DBA skillset)
• Docker (creating and modifying Docker images, as well as deployment via Docker Hub) and deployment (experience with Nginx, Docker Swarm, and Linux; preferably Portainer, Cloudflare, and Kubernetes) are not foreign to you
• You are curious about learning and adopting new technologies, languages and practices
• You like to hang out with people, communicate with them and work together with them, i.e. you are a team player
• You are always positive but brutally honest at times
• But most of all, you are in for a laugh and enjoy yourself

The job would be based at Budapest on the Buda side at Nyúl utca next to Széll Kálmán tér. Remote work is possible on a later date but we would appreciate to be in the office from time to time.
