N-iX is looking for Senior Full-Stack developer (Java+React) to join our team.

About the Role
Our client is looking for a Java Full‑Stack Developer to help accelerate product development for their flagship workforce management solution, HotSchedules Labor. You’ll work in a collaborative, international team with developers and QA engineers from Ukraine, Latin America, and the US. This role offers a great opportunity to strengthen your English skills, as many team meetings are held in English.

The team actively uses AI coding agents to speed up development and improve code quality. Candidates must be comfortable working with AI tools as part of their daily workflow.

Most engineers on the team are full‑stack developers, but current priorities lean more toward backend tasks. A solid background in backend development combined with practical front‑end experience (React 18, Redux) is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features based on the product backlog

• Build REST services for high-volume, low-latency web and mobile applications

• Design and implement database schema changes (MS SQL Server) and maintain Flyway migrations

• Maintain and refactor existing codebases, including legacy Backbone.js modules

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features

• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate development and enhance code quality

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Java

• At least 6 months of daily experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)

• Strong proficiency in the Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring JDBC)

• Experience with MS SQL Server and Flyway database migrations

• Practical experience with React 18, including Redux and component libraries (Material UI or similar)

• Experience with the Gradle build system

• Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Lambda) and Azure (Service Bus, Blob Storage) is a plus

• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a nice-to-have

• Upper‑intermediate English or higher
