We are looking for a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to join a healthcare-focused project where AI is a core capability of the product, not an experiment. This role requires strong full stack foundations combined with real-world experience designing, building, and operating LLM-powered systems in production.

You will work on end-to-end AI-driven features, from backend services and AI orchestration layers to modern frontend applications, integrating complex healthcare systems while ensuring security, compliance, and scalability. This is a builder + architect role with high ownership, long-term impact, and real production responsibility.

Requirements:
REQUERIMIENTOS

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-ready AI features powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and APIs, including async and high-performance systems.
• Build and evolve frontend applications using React and TypeScript, integrating AI capabilities into real user-facing workflows.
• Design and implement RAG-style architectures, including vector search and document ingestion pipelines.
• Architect and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, observability, and security in production environments.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design robust integrations across healthcare systems.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical direction, and best practices across the platform.
• Take ownership of features and systems from design through deployment and ongoing operation.

Desired Profile

Experience & Seniority

• Senior-level experience as a Full Stack or AI Engineer.
• Proven experience delivering LLM-powered products to production (not limited to PoCs).
• Experience working on complex, distributed systems with real users and business impact.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development (APIs, async patterns).
• Solid experience with React and TypeScript in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI system orchestration.
• Familiarity with vector databases, semantic search, and RAG architectures.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Strong system design and architectural thinking.

Healthcare, Security & Integrations

• Experience or strong familiarity with healthcare systems and integrations.
• Awareness of HIPAA and security best practices when handling sensitive data.
• Understanding of intellectual property (IP) considerations and secure system integrations.
• Experience integrating APIs and systems in regulated or compliance-heavy environments is highly valued.

Soft Skills

• Strong ownership and accountability mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously in distributed, remote teams.
• Clear communication skills in English with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solver with a builder mentality and architectural judgment.

Additional Requirements

• Advanced English required (spoken and written).
