As a Senior Software Engineer working on Ads Experience, you will build a brand new advertising experience for our advertisers and publishers. This team will provide advertisers with tools to run successful ad campaigns as well as provide publishers the tools to build revenue streams from immersive ads. You will be part of the team building a brand new experience for Advertisers and Publishers that will be critical to our Immersive Ads future. You will report into our Engineer Manager.

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will craft robust, extensible systems for high-traffic surfaces across our Ads products. You will drive solutions using React and other technologies, helping us to build components quickly and efficiently across devices.

You Will:

• Design, build and ship features to improve the user journey for millions of users

• Work with Engineering, Product, Design and Data partners to match developers with the right audience

• Architect universal solutions for delivering features across a range of platforms and devices

• Drive UX improvements through data-driven decisions and A/B testing

• Collaborate with teams across Roblox to deliver a coherent user experience across the platform

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development

• 5+ years of experience with web technologies (React, Typescript, Javascript)

• 5+ years of experience building and launching consumer-facing features with design, product and/or other partners

• Mobile App Development or Game Development is a plus

• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or other technical field is a plus

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range
$242,100—$293,800 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
