Senior Frontend Engineer (Web3)

Employment: Full-time via MLabs
Engagement: Contracted to a UAE-based enterprise blockchain / fintech client
Location: Remote (Eastern Europe / MENA / India preferred)

MLabs is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer (Web3) to support a large-scale blockchain and financial technology program for a UAE-based enterprise client.

You will build secure, high-performance web applications that integrate directly with blockchain infrastructure. This role combines modern frontend engineering with decentralized technologies, requiring strong expertise in React and Web3 integrations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience integrating smart contracts, wallet providers, and on-chain data into production-grade web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Web3-enabled frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Integrate smart contracts using Web3 libraries (e.g., ethers.js, web3.js)
• Implement wallet connectivity and transaction flows
• Handle on-chain data fetching and real-time state updates
• Ensure secure and reliable interaction between frontend and blockchain layers
• Optimize performance and user experience in decentralized environments
• Collaborate closely with smart contract, protocol, and backend teams

Requirements:
• 5+ years frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js, etc.)
• Experience building production dApp frontends
• Strong understanding of wallet integrations and transaction lifecycle
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with distributed systems

Preferred

• Experience with EVM-compatible networks
• Experience with indexing services (e.g., The Graph)
• Experience building DeFi or financial blockchain interfaces
• Experience working in distributed remote teams
