We’re hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer skilled in React / TypeScript to join a growing product team for our client in Valencia. You’ll work closely with a Tech Lead, Product Manager and Designer to build and scale the user-facing layer of a modern content operations platform with AI-powered features.

This is a hands-on role focused on frontend excellence, with some full-stack exposure when needed. You’ll be part of building the engineering hub in Spain of this company, originally from the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain React / TypeScript applications across client, user and admin interfaces

Translate designs into high-quality, responsive and accessible UIs

Design scalable component architectures and reusable UI patterns

Collaborate in 6-week Shape-Up cycles, shipping fast and iterating pragmatically

Integrate with backend APIs and make small backend changes (Laravel/PHP) when needed

Optimize performance, bundle size and frontend reliability

Collaborate closely with Product, Design and AI teams

Requirements

Minimum 7-8 years of frontend development experience

Strong, hands-on expertise with React + TypeScript

Experience in startup or scale-up environments

Product-minded engineer who understands UX, trade-offs and delivery

Comfortable collaborating with designers and PMs

Fluent English

Nice to Have

Full-stack exposure (Laravel/PHP is a plus)

Experience with Shape-Up or similar agile methods

Experience building design systems or component libraries

Interest in AI-powered products or workflow automation
