YOUR NEW TEAM

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Website and Registration Route team. Our mission is to welcome every website visitor in the best possible way by making the entry to our loan comparison service clear, simple and convenient. We are constantly optimizing the customer journey by analyzing and testing in a cross-functional approach between tech, product and design. In addition, we provide the organization with high-quality tracking solutions and data to steer our business and continuously improve the customer experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Work in a data-intensive distributed environment with React in the frontend connected to a variety of NodeJS Serverless or Golang services that run on AWS Lambda and Kubernetes.

• Conceptualize and build new functionality as well as improve existing systems and services.

• Take active part in the decision-making processes of your team (goals, tools, timelines, stack, etc.).

• Work closely with our Product Owner and UX Designers to plan and continuously develop new features for the team’s domain

• Involve in the development and maintenance of the team’s products end to end in line with our “you build it, you run it, you own it” philosophy which also includes DevOps tasks.

YOUR PROFILE

• Several years of professional experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React and static page generation using NextJs.

• Professional experience setting up A/B testing infrastructure, related tooling as well as running continuous optimization tests.

• Experience building frontend applications that integrate with complex backend APIs and services; backend programming skills (ideally Golang) are a plus.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as CloudFront, Lambda and S3 is a strong advantage.

• Proven experience building customer journeys and high- traffic frontends in conversion-focussed B2C environments.

• Solid understanding of accessibility best practices and performance optimization.

• Experience with analytics or customer data platforms ( like Segment, Amplitude) and a good eye for design are considered a big plus.

• Strong communication skills, a proactive working style and a collaborative mindset with a sense of ownership.
