As a Senior Frontend Engineer in the Conversions tribe, you will be a technical leader driving our mission to empower all our meal brands to achieve ambitious targets. By powering marketing with advanced MarTech capabilities and product innovation, we focus heavily on (re)acquisition, conversion optimization, and data-driven growth strategies.

You will architect and orchestrate the implementation of a seamless, high-performing conversion funnel that serves millions of users globally. Your impact will be strategic and far-reaching: you will ensure our core personalization layer maintains exceptional performance and scalability, championing Core Web Vitals and technical excellence to support our scaling ambitions.

What You’ll Do: The Recipe

• Define the technical architecture and standards for personalized landing pages and funnel steps built with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.

• Lead complex cross-functional projects, from initial scoping to high-quality, monitored deployment, driving consensus on technical decisions within the tribe.

• Translate difficult technical topics and trade-offs into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders, including Product and Marketing teams across 18 countires and six brands.

• Drive Proactive Ownership: Take full, end-to-end ownership of features and infrastructure, proactively communicating status, risks, and updates to stakeholders regardless of function.

• Mentor and coach mid-level engineers, raising the quality bar for code reviews, testing practices, and overall system design.

• Architect and optimize solutions leveraging edge runtimes (e.g., Cloudflare Workers, Vercel Edge) and advanced caching strategies to maximize performance and reliability.

• Champion web performance initiatives, constantly seeking opportunities to improve Core Web Vitals and troubleshoot difficult, low-latency personalization challenges.

What You’ll Bring: The Ingredients

• Extensive experience (5+ years) with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development, with a proven track record of architecting scalable solutions.

• Deep expertise in Next.js and hands-on experience designing and optimizing systems utilizing edge runtimes (Vercel Edge/Cloudflare Workers).

• Advanced understanding of web performance optimization, especially related to Core Web Vitals, SSR patterns, and monitoring tools like Sentry or Honeycomb.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively manage expectations and alignment among a large, diverse group of stakeholders and markets.

• Proven ability to navigate and manage ambiguity and uncertainty inherent in a high-growth environment, guiding technical solutions despite shifting requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and contribute to team-wide knowledge sharing.

• Strong foundational understanding of GenAI workflows and the ability to effectively leverage advanced engineering tools to increase development speed and quality.
