Senior Front End Engineer - React.js/ Next.js

RYZ Labs is seeking a Senior Front-end Engineer to join one of our clients' dynamic teams. The ideal candidate will focus on developing high-quality, user-facing features and contribute to an engaging and seamless user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of performant and scalable front-end solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain user-facing features with clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure pixel-perfect UI and intuitive user experiences.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to guarantee code quality and reliability.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance.
- Review code and provide constructive technical feedback to team members.
- Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Define standards and best practices for testing, software delivery, and observability.
- Participate actively in team meetings, including stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Create and update technical documentation.
- Implement improvements to development processes.
- Debug and resolve production issues.
- Advocate for adopting new technologies and design patterns to enhance business capabilities.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver aligned, high-quality user experiences.
- Stay current with front-end development trends and explore innovations.
- Work with engineering leads to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end solutions.
- Implement observability with technologies such as Datadog and Sentry.
- Enforce best practices and review PRs to maintain code quality.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and relevant front-end frameworks such as Next.js.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Proven experience in optimizing application performance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in an Agile development environment.
- Specific experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and CMS driven architecture.
- Familiarity with DataDog, Sentry, and design systems.
