Senior Front-End Developer (React)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with deep React (Next.js) expertise to help us build modern, user-friendly, and performant interfaces. In this role, you will design and implement real-time, data-rich applications, collaborating closely with our software engineering and consulting teams. While your primary focus will be front-end development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern React/TypeScript (Next.js)
• Collaborate with back-end engineers
• Apply best practices
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural documentation
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and testable code with strong focus on user experience

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong Experience with React and TypeScript + Next.js
• Expertise in data fetching and caching with React Query (or similar)
• Proficiency in state management, UI component libraries, and modern build tools
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks
• Solid knowledge of CSS frameworks (Material UI or similar)
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum workflows with excellent English communication skills

Bonus / Optional Skills

• Understanding of real-time applications (SignalR, WebSockets)
• Proficiency in data visualization libraries (ECharts, Plotly, HighCharts)
• Familiarity with Storybook for component-driven development
• Familiarity with C# and Python

In accordance with the IT collective agreement (minimum ST1 – Regelstufe), the minimum gross annual salary is €53,802; however, your actual compensation will reflect your skills, experience, and impact and will be significantly higher
