Skills:

Application programming experience with JavaScript UI Development (HTML, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript) essential

Knowledge of Sencha ExtJS framework desirable

Knowledge of Prolog/Datalog or other truly declarative logic programming languages an advantage but full training will be given

Broad architectural knowledge of Linux based systems, unix / python scripting, software architectures and service orientated architectures required

An appreciation of statistical based declarative languages/SQL/SAS and an understanding around data evaluation, matrix manipulation and modelling is highly desirable.

Required Experience and Education:

BS degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science

Database experience

Some UNIX experience

Experience manipulating and evaluating large data sets is helpful

Experience with one or more of the following is helpful but not required: SQL, SAS, MATLAB, Mathmatica, Oracle Express, Acumate.

English speaker

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to take on responsibilities with minimal supervision
