Senior FPGA Designer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior FPGA Designer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:

Take on the responsibility for development and testing of complex VHDL/Verilog projects in FPGAs

Proficiently drive projects from studies and simulations to implementation and testing, including documentation

Actively contribute to innovative and efficient development processes to ensure our future success

Support the evaluation and introduction of control boards and platforms

Ensure customer satisfaction through sporadic troubleshooting and support of customer projects

Designing, simulating, coding and verifying FPGA projects for software defined radio applications

Developing and optimizing of digital signal processing algorithms

Carry out timing analysis of large high-speed FPGA designs

Requirements:

B.Sc. or higher in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or similar

Proven track record in VHDL or Verilog programming for FPGA

Proficiency in scripting languages: tcl, bash

Proficiency in Python is a strong plus

Working with RF test equipment is a plus

Experience with embedded devices is a plus

10+ years of relevant hands-on experience

Openness for new challenges and interest to learn and develop

Team spirit with the capacity to work independently, complemented by a quick intellect and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills

Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure

Good level of spoken and written English language (upper-intermediate)
