Senior Flutter Developer

Role Overview

The Senior Flutter Developer is responsible for Design, develop, and maintain high-performing, responsive, and optimized mobile applications using the Flutter framework. The role involves leading mobile development initiatives, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver secure, scalable, and seamless mobile experiences.

The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Flutter and Dart, solid architectural knowledge, and a passion for delivering user-centric mobile solutions within Agile development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• App Development & Design

o Design, develop, and maintain advanced multi-language mobile applications for Android and iOS using Flutter , with capability to adapt and deploy across other mobile platforms and app stores as required.

o Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Dart code following best practices and coding standards.

o Build and optimize reusable UI components and custom widgets for scalable architectures.

o Ensure responsiveness, performance, and usability across multiple devices and screen sizes.

• Architecture & Technical Leadership

o Define and implement robust app architectures and state-management solutions (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, GetX, or MobX).

o Apply clean architecture and SOLID design principles to maintain code quality and modularity.

o Lead code reviews, provide feedback, and enforce development standards across the team.

o Optimize application responsiveness, load time, and resource usage on various devices and troubleshoot production-level issues.

o Collaborate with backend teams to ensure efficient API usage, data flow, and overall system performance, while focusing on front-end responsiveness and user experience.

• Integration & Backend Collaboration

o Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party or cloud backends (e.g., Firebase, AWS, Azure).

o Work closely with backend teams to define API, handle data exchange, and resolve integration issues.

o Implement secure data storage and manage authentication flows within the app.

• Testing & Quality Assurance

o Implement and maintain unit, widget, and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

o Conduct regular code reviews and apply automated testing tools to minimize regressions.

o Collaborate with QA teams to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.

• Collaboration & Mentorship

o Work closely with Product Managers and UI/UX Designers to translate business requirements into functional, high-quality mobile experiences.

o Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

o Participate actively in Agile ceremonies e.g. sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Deployment & Maintenance

o Manage app release cycles to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

o Monitor performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information system, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of professional mobile development experience, with at least 2+ years in Flutter.

• Strong proficiency in Dart programming language and Flutter framework.

• Experience with native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development is an advantage

• Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, and responsive design.

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON data.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.

• Familiarity with cloud-based backends (Firebase, AWS, Azure) and containerized environments.

• Solid understanding of version control systems .

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Familiarity with Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.

• Experience in App Store / Play Store submission and release management.

• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

• Fluency in English is a must as they will be dealing with suppliers all over the world.
