Senior Fleet Mechanic | Leadership Opportunity | Career Growth
If you’re the kind of person who sees a problem and handles it before anyone else notices it — keep reading.
We’re looking for a Lead Mechanic who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving real operational problems, and wants more than just another mechanic job. This role is about ownership, leadership, and helping build something meaningful as our company continues to grow.
Our ideal Lead Mechanic is a highly capable, self-driven professional with 5–10 years of mechanic and fleet experience who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where autonomy and accountability matter. They are operationally mature, resourceful, and solution-oriented—someone who naturally takes initiative, solves problems proactively, and keeps things moving without needing constant oversight. They enjoy building systems, improving efficiency, and taking pride in high-quality execution. Outside of work, they likely enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, working on vehicles, and spending time with family. They are motivated by achievement, ownership, and the opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role overseeing fleet and equipment operations across multiple branches. They value strong communication, teamwork, and a people-first culture, and are turned off by micromanagement or environments lacking accountability and support.
We need someone who can keep our fleet and equipment running at a high level while helping improve efficiency, organization, and systems along the way. This is a role with autonomy — we trust our people to lead, think critically, and take initiative without being micromanaged.
What You’ll Do
Maintain and repair trucks, trailers, mowers, small engines, and equipment
Diagnose issues and solve problems the right way
Help improve shop organization, efficiency, and preventative maintenance systems
Support crews and team members with equipment-related needs
Take ownership of fleet readiness and operational execution
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
Have 5–10 years of mechanic or fleet experience
Naturally take initiative and solve problems on your own
Are detail-oriented and take pride in doing things right
Enjoy working in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
Want a long-term career path, not just a paycheck
Like building systems and making things better over time
This Role Probably Isn’t For You If:
You prefer being closely managed every step of the way
You avoid responsibility or ownership
You struggle in team environments or with communication
You’re only looking for a routine “clock in / clock out” mechanic job
Why People Like Working Here
People-first culture that genuinely invests in employees
Opportunity to grow into Fleet or Equipment Management leadership roles
A team that values hard work, accountability, and craftsmanship
Freedom to lead and improve systems without constant micromanagement
A growing company where your impact actually matters
If you’re someone who enjoys solving problems, improving operations, and building something bigger than yourself, we’d love to talk with you.
