Senior FinOps Business Analyst (F/M/D)

Join our dynamic Cloud Enablement team in Madrid and be part of Axpo's technological transformation. We're looking for a passionate professional to help accelerate our cloud adoption and drive cost optimization across Microsoft Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities
FinOps Operating Model:
Develop and manage the FinOps framework across inform–optimize–operate phases.
Define cadences, owners, and KPIs for engineering, product, and finance teams.
Cloud Financial Governance:
Handle budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and unit economics.
Build and iterate executive dashboards and reports.
Showback/Chargeback Models:
Collaborate with Finance to define and manage shared-services allocation models.
Savings Realization:
Drive commitment strategies (Reservations/Savings Plans) and monitor savings.
Azure FinOps Standards:
Establish and enable adoption of standards like FOCUS mapping and cost views.
Business Reviews:
Conduct monthly reviews, highlight anomalies, and communicate trade-offs and ROI to senior stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience leading FinOps/cloud cost management programs.
Expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting.
Proficiency in Azure FinOps concepts and data mapping.
Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills.
Effective stakeholder management and communication in English.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Hands-on reporting experience with tools like Power BI.
Familiarity with Azure Cost Management and FinOps practices.
Additional language skills (Spanish or German).
