Senior Financial Analyst, Wholesale

Tecovas is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Wholesale to oversee the financial management of our wholesale business, ensuring the effective allocation of resources and profitability across all wholesale channels. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will work cross functionally to drive financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

What you’ll do:

• P&L Ownership: Manage the wholesale P&L, providing detailed analysis and insights on profitability at both consolidated and customer-levels.

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes for wholesale operations

• Financial Forecasting: Lead the development, maintenance and improvement of accurate and dynamic forecasting models for wholesale. Provide regular updates and adjustments to forecasts based on market trends, internal performance data, and strategic shifts.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including variance analysis, financial statements, and management reports for wholesale operations. Leverage dashboarding / Excel integrations in Cube to ensure department owners receive sufficient visibility to their department’s spend.

• Wholesale Strategy: Serve as a key partner to the wholesale team by performing analysis and making recommendations on go-to-market strategy

• Account Terms: Analyze proposed terms for new and existing accounts to ensure the profile falls within our allowance for “incentive spend” and ideal working capital profile

• Risk Management: Identify financial risks in the Wholesale P&L and assist in developing strategies to mitigate these risks.

• Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls related to OPEX and P&L management.

Experience we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in a finance-related role; investment banking or wholesale experience a plus

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
