They are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Finance and Accounting Practice in their Paramus, NJ office.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze financial and operational results versus forecast, plan/investigate significant variances and communicate findings to practice leaders
- Interact with firm leadership to develop long-term business and profit plans
- Develop quarterly forecasts for distinct businesses and assist in preparation of detailed variance analyses where applicable
- Participate in preparing monthly financial reporting package and bi-monthly operating analysis
- Develop solutions to ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests utilizing available tools and technologies

Qualifications:

- Five years of experience in a large corporate environment analyzing financial statements and budgets
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/university
-Strong analytical skills including experience with quarterly analysis of P/L statements / operations result; variance and trend analysis
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Access, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Hyperion is a plus

The candidate should be self motivated and will be required to independently take action to achieve the organization’s goals.  The candidate should have strong PC skills, including Excel, Oracle and Hyperion (Enterprise/HFM) and strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

70-80K + bonus
