Senior Financial Analyst

The role & impact

As a pivotal player in our core financial planning and analysis activities, you will be part of a focused team that refines and executes our budget and forecasting process. You will contribute directly to how we model our business through our financial planning tool, Anaplan, generating meaningful, actionable insights that drive faster and better decision-making across the full P&L.

Your work involves creating and maintaining financial models to assess potential scenarios, risks, and opportunities while supporting strategic decision-making. By delivering data-backed insights to leadership both within and outside of Finance, you will positively influence business outcomes and help build a stronger economy for small businesses.

You will join a small, high-impact team that thrives on collaboration and generating insights that matter. We work across multiple portfolios to keep the business informed, building strong relationships across the organisation to demonstrate the value of cross-functional finance partnership.

Initially, you will focus on

• Supporting our financial systems transformation by contributing to our migration from Adaptive to Anaplan.

• Critically assessing our Anaplan model to ensure it delivers the best possible outcomes for our diverse stakeholders.

• Developing your model-building expertise within the Anaplan environment to find and report information efficiently.

• Refining existing financial models with a continuous improvement mindset to better assess risks and opportunities.

• You bring a solid foundation with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Your background includes a professional certification like a CFA or a Master’s degree, which would be a wonderful addition to the team.

• You possess a natural flair for taking complex data and weaving it into a story that resonates with audiences and drives action.

• Having an innovative mindset helps you solve quantitative puzzles and approach problems with analytical rigour.

• You show great skill in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

• Previous experience in a high-growth SaaS environment or investment banking will help you hit the ground running.
