MUST HAVE PRIOR PUBLIC ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE
This position is responsible for activities relating to the Corporation’s global intercompany reconciliation, elimination, and reporting processes.
- Perform duties as part of the Corporation’s intercompany reconciliation process. Ensure intercompany balances are eliminated in consolidation.
- Ensure intercompany loans are properly documented and accounted for, including the determination of short-term vs. long-term treatment.
- Ensure intercompany profit is properly eliminated.
- Ensure intercompany balances are settled in a timely manner in accordance with taxing authority regulations.
- Act as liaison between tax and financial reporting/accounting departments on numerous matters.
- Must be able to interpret complex transactions and ensure the accounting for such transactions is in compliance with US GAAP and taxing authority regulations.
- Must be able to adapt to shifting priorities while meeting strict deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with accounting, finance and tax associates globally.
- Must be flexible to work overtime as needed, especially during quarter and year end.
2-5 years in finance/accounting/tax
Education
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting/Tax
CPA Preferred
$80K - $90K
