O B J E C T I V E ( S ) O F T H E P O S I T I O N

Participate in maintaining the smooth operations of the finance and administration department by handling all operational aspects of the accounting and budgeting process, preparing reports and financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all financial processes and procedures.

D U T I E S & R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S

Finance and Accounting:

• Contribute to budget planning/execution process with his/her superior, track and compile reports on the actual expenditures vs. budget plans, update financial resources status to assist on their proper utilization.

• Gather and prepare the monthly & quarterly financial statements, transaction reports and final accounts on time and submit for review.

• Prepare and issue financial statements, reports and final accounts to Finance manager.

• Handle the daily operations and procedures related to bank relations, treasury, cash flows and financial movements and ensure proper application and on the spot, problem solving in alignment with Finance Manager.

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile clients’ payable accounts, process payments, advances and issue invoices and maintain an updated register in the accounting ledger and financial documents.

• Prepare, issue and complete invoices, reconcile vendors’ receivables accounts, prepare for their periodical on time collection. • Handle all suppliers/ venders/ service providers’ accounts, complete all financial documents, handle purchase orders with all its procedures and provide receipt bills.

• Spot errors and non-compliance problems through efficient and continuous scrutiny in financial transactions and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.

• Maintain proper administrative records and handle filing systems arrangements.

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts.

• Assist in preparing budgets, review, analyze actual financial data vs planned and prepare budget reports, suggest improvements and/or corrective actions accordingly.

• Review and ensure the on-time and correct issuance of the monthly & quarterly financial statements, transaction reports and final accounts

Auditin

• Contribute to external audit & inspection preparations and implementation through liaising with external auditors to support in proper auditing process.

• Assist in internal and external (private and public) audits and inspections preparations to ensure compliance, submit audit operations reports in coordination with the team/legal accountant for approval.

• Gather, prepare and submit official and non-official financial documents and reports concerning the internal and external audit operations, in coordination with legal accountant.

• Liaise with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and other governmental authorities to complete required procedures.

• Prepare and submit official documents to governmental bodies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Manage and follow up on governmental transactions and official paperwork related to the organization’s activities

Administration

• Support in the facilitation of some administrative tasks along with the administrative coordinator to ensure smooth business and operations services; for inventory, supplies, travel and accommodations, etc.

• Deliver the assigned strategic initiatives as per the identified project requirements, and supervise team to ensure proper delivery of their assigned initiatives.

• Closely monitor performance of supervised teams, provide constructive feedback, provide support to ensure individual development, and follow up their progress towards achieving development objectives

▪ Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

▪ 5-7 of experience in accounting.
