About the Profile:

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Analyst to join our finance team in India. In this role, you will be the critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with Indian statutory and tax requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with Indian tax regulations, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, high-growth SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Accounting & Operations:

• manage end-to-end accounting operations in accordance with GAAP.

• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end books closure process ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Preparation and review bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and calculation of depreciation as per the Companies Act and Income Tax Act.

• Monitoring of daily cash flows and processing of vendor and employee expense payouts.

• Day to day accounting of vendor bills, payments, pre-paid amortizations, accrual accounting, receipts accounting, credit card transactions, etc.

• Coordinate with bankers, auditors, tax consultants, bankers, legal advisors, and government authorities as required

• Support in completion of audits including Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Fixed Assets Verification, and Group/Consolidation Audit

Direct Taxation – India Entity:

• Preparation of monthly TDS workings and initiation of TDS payments

• Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns

• Generation and issuance of TDS certificates

• Preparation of Quarterly Advance tax workings

• Support in handling income tax assessments, notices, and litigation matters

Indirect Taxation – India Entity:

• Preparation of monthly GST workings and ensuring timely payment of liabilities.

• Preparation and filing of monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns.

• Execution of monthly GSTR-2B reconciliations with purchase registers and coordination with vendors for mismatches.

• Generation of e-invoices and e-way bills as per statutory timelines.

• Assistance in the preparation and filing of Annual GST Returns (GSTR-9/9C).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Semi-qualified CA, MBA in Finance, or Commerce Graduate (B.Com/M.Com) with strong academic credentials

• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in end-to-end taxation and supporting finance & accounting functions

• Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite and FloQast

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple stakeholders

• Ability to work in fast pass environment and navigate prioritise

• Self-motivated to work individually as well as work closely with in a team.
