Was Dich erwartet:

Du bist als Senior Expert Site Reliability Engineer (m/w/d) verantwortlich für die Führung und Steuerung des Betriebs von Data Warehouse Anwendungen und -prozessen.
Du leitest juniorere Kolleg:innen (on- und offshore) bei der Entwicklung und dem Betrieb von Datawarehouse Anwendungen an und verantwortest den gesamten Datawarehouse -Lifecycle, insbesondere die Optimierung von Datawarehouse-Prozessen hinsichtlich Betreibbarkeit, Kosten, Laufzeit und Stabilität.
Du erstellst technische Lösungsentwürfe für den Betrieb von komplexen Plattform- und Datenarchitekturen in der Cloud (Google, AWS, private Cloud), inklusive der Anbindung an die entsprechenden Operations Tools
Du unterstützt den Offshore-Betrieb (SQL, Python, Monitoring Tools), definierst SLA / OLA und verantwortest die betriebliche Einführung von Offshore-Entwicklungsprojekten.
Du analysierst und optimierst den Betrieb von Datawarehouse-Prozessen und -Tools und erstellst Arbeitsanweisungen.
Du deckst Automatisierungs- und Prozessoptimierungspotenziale auf und erarbeitest eigenständig und proaktiv Umsetzungsvorschläge unter Einbeziehung der neuesten systemischen Möglichkeiten.
Du führst Workshops mit verschiedenen Teams, die den Betrieb (z.B. PCS, VOIS, Google) und die Entwicklung verantworten durch, um die Betreibbarkeit und SLA Einhaltung sicherzustellen.

Was Dich auszeichnet:

Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Data Science, Mathematik, Physik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
Mindestens 5 Jahre praktische Erfahrung im Betrieb oder der Entwicklung von Datawarehouse / Big Data Anwendungen.
Zertifizierung als Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer sowie weitere vertiefende Zertifizierungen wie z.B. Cloud DevOps Engineer, Security Operations Engineer (oder vergleichbare Zertifizierungen auf AWS).
Kenntnisse zu telekommunikationsspezifischen Daten wie BSS (Vertrag, Kunde, Produkte, Services) und OSS (Netzwerkdaten).
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (B2 nach GER).

Diese Stelle kann in Vollzeit oder vollzeitnaher Teilzeit (mind. 30 Stunden) ausgeübt werden.

What to Expect:

As a Senior Expert Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d), you are responsible for leading and managing the operation of Data Warehouse applications and processes.
You guide junior colleagues (onshore and offshore) in the development and operation of Data Warehouse applications and take responsibility for the entire Data Warehouse lifecycle, especially optimizing Data Warehouse processes in terms of operability, cost, runtime, and stability.
You create technical solution designs for the operation of complex platform and data architectures in the cloud (Google, AWS, private cloud), including integration with the relevant operations tools.
You support offshore operations (SQL, Python, monitoring tools), define SLA / OLA, and are responsible for the operational introduction of offshore development projects.
You analyze and optimize the operation of Data Warehouse processes and tools and prepare work instructions.
You identify automation and process optimization potentials and independently and proactively develop implementation proposals, incorporating the latest system capabilities.
You conduct workshops with various teams responsible for operations (e.g., PCS, VOIS, Google) and development to ensure operability and SLA compliance.

What Sets You Apart:

Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable qualification.
At least 5 years of practical experience in the operation or development of Data Warehouse / Big Data applications.
Certification as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer as well as further advanced certifications such as Cloud DevOps Engineer, Security Operations Engineer (or comparable certifications on AWS).
Knowledge of telecommunications-specific data such as BSS (contract, customer, products, services) and OSS (network data).
Very good English skills, spoken and written (B2 according to GER).

This position can be full-time or near full-time part-time (minimum 30 hours).
